My newest aerial short film, “The Steadfast Mountains of Iceland”. This was filmed in June of 2021 during my third visit to Iceland. I struggled with the title on this one for a long time, but in the end decided that the presence, longevity, and strength of these mountains constantly looming over the rest of the landscape is what the film is about. The mountains of Iceland do change shape and look but they are always there, always standing watch over the towns, rivers, and valleys.
This was my first time in Iceland during the summer, so happy to finally see green grass in Iceland! As you can see from this film, the colors, textures, and grandeur of the landscapes are just incredible and is what draws me back to Iceland each time.
